The new variant of the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus will go on sale in India on Thursday, June 21. A week ago, the global smartphone leader Samsung announced a new colour in the company’s flagship phone Galaxy S9 Plus, which is Sunrise Gold edition. The company has made it public that the new edition in the smartphone can be bought across some selective retail stores. Earlier, the interested buyers had an option to book the smartphone via the Samsung Shop and Flipkart.

At the time of its launch in March 2018, the phone was launched in India. At that time it was available in three variants – Coral Blue, Lilac Purple, and Midnight Black. According to Samsung, the variant has a satin gloss finish to it.

Coming to the specifications, the new edition in the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus is only available with 128GB inbuilt storage. The variant will be available at Rs 68,900 and the company has provided several offers for the customers purchasing it.

The customers making payments using Paytm Mall or ICICI credit cards will get over RS 9,000 cashback and a special one-time screen replacement.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC in India. The smartphone supports Android Oreo and has water and dust resistance as well. With 6GB RAM, the handset sports a 35oomAH battery.

At the display front, it has a 6.2-inch QHD+ Curved Super AMOLED 18.5:9 display. Revolutionising your camera experience, the phone sports a 12-megapixel camera on its rear end with autofocus f/1.5-f/2.4 sensor. The front camera is 8-megapixel with autofocus f/1.7 sensor.

Last month, Samsung has announced two variants of the both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ last month, which were Sunrise Gold and Burgundy Red colour.
