Motorola on Wednesday unveiled its latest smartphone, Moto Z3 Play at an event in Brazil. According to reports, Moto Z3 Play has a 6-inch display with 18:9 ratio and it is compatible with Moto mods, so people can customize their smartphone. The reports have suggested that it would cost around Rs 33,380 ($499). The company will compete with other smartphones, including One Plus 6 which already available in the market. The flagship smartphone will be available this summer later. However, the exact date of Moto Z3 availability in India hasn’t been revealed by the company.
Moto Z3 is the successor to the Moto Z2 Play and no major changes have been made in its looks, but the company has updated its specifications. The latest smartphone comes with a glass back (Gorilla 3 on both sides). Unlike its previous version, Moto Z3 Play has an AMOLED-type display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
The company has focused on improvement in its looks, bezels in this smartphone are minimal and the fingerprint scanner has been moved to the side of the device. Its lightweight despite being the 6-inch smartphone is amazing, it is of just 156 grams. Moto Z3 Play is just 6.75mm.
However, there is no clarity on its water-proof feature, there is no-IP rated water resistance. The smartphone comes with Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage for its fast performance. For its long run, the company has given 3000mAh battery in this smartphone.
It runs on Andriod 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. According to Motorola claims, Moto Z3 is the first smartphone in the market with deep Google Lens imtegrations. When it comes to photography with a smartphone, the phone has a 12MP primary and a 5MP secondary camera. For selfies, there is an 8MP camera on the front.
