Micromax has recently unveiled Canvas 2 Plus (2018) that is going to be the upgraded version of the Canvas 2. After 2012, Micromax finally came up with the successor of Canvas 2. In a statement, Micromax stated that the company is aimed to give consumers a device that will have great specifications and features as per desired by the users. Vikas Jain, Co-Founder, Micromax Informatics said that in a bid to fulfil consumer’s requirement, the Canvas 2 comes with features like infinity screen, face unlock feature, compelling battery and more.
Well, the smartphone has come up with a number of compelling features to match the current market trends. From Face unlock feature to having an 18:9 display, Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) is a mid-range smartphone, which would be available for purchase across all retail outlets.
Coming to specifications, Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) sports features like a 5.7-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display with 18:9 aspect ration and a 450 nits peak brightness. The smartphone runs on Android Nougat with a dual-SIM (Nano) setup.
It has a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC, coupled with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. On the rear end, Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) sports a 13-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens. On the front end, with an 8-megapixel camera comes a selfie flash to let the users have selfies under low light.
Features like Beauty mode, Time Lapse, and Watermark, and Portrait mode are also there to make your selfie-game on point.
Under the hood, there is a 4000mAh battery which is 8mm thick. It also sports a 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and FM radio.
The new smartphone has come up as a competition to flagships like Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, Honor 7C, and Motorola Moto G5 Plus.
Micromax Canvas 2 Plus (2018) available at a price of Rs 8,999. The smartphone comes in two variants, which are Jet Black and Matte Black colour options.
