England Vs New Zealand ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 Final: Only few hours are left for the much-awaited ICC Cricket World Cup final between England vs New Zealand in Lord’s. Both the teams are looking good and in tremendous form. One has to win the title and other has to try it after four hours at different venue and conditions. So far, New Zealand have an edge over England in the ODI clashes and World Cup matches. Both the sides have locked horns against each other 90 times in the 50-hour game.

Among which Blackcaps have won 43 games while England won 41 games. As many as two matches were tied and four matches did not see any result. In the ICC’s showpiece events, the Kiwis are ahead of England. Among nine World cup clashes, New Zealand have tasted victory in five games and England have won four matches.

Last time, both the teams met in this World Cup with England registering thumping victory with 119 runs. It was a do-or-die situation for Eoin Morgan-led team as they needed to win the games and secure semi-final berth. Batting first, Jonny Bairstow’s ton helped England to post 305 total. While chasing down the target, Kane Williamson-led Kiwis were bowled-out for 186.

New Zealand narrowly escaped World cup exit. Thanks to their better net run-rate. Kiwis and Pakistan ended with 11 each point in the league stage but Sarfaraz Ahmed-led Men in Green had to book tickets for IslamAbad as they were not having sound net run-rate.  Interestingly, Pakistan defeated both the finalists in the group fixtures.
