In a major blow to visiting team, Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the 3-match T20I and ODI series against England due to his thumb injury. The pacer got injured during India’s first T20I game vs Ireland while looking to stop a ball during his run-up, resulting in rest for the second game. The scan result of his injured hand is yet to be released. Reports say that he may also miss ODI series against the home team. However, he can play 5-match Test series, which is scheduled to be held after T20I and ODI series.

The Yorker specialist Bumrah will definitely be missed by Indian team due to his mastery and excellent skills in the shortest format of cricket game. Bumrah is also the number 1 in ODI rankings with 787 ratings, followed by Afghanistan spinner Rashid Ali and Pakistan’s Hasan Ali.
