In another shocker, at least 5 people have been lynched to death by villagers on Sunday afternoon they suspected that the men of child theft in Rainpada village of Dhule district. Reports say that one of the deceased is a resident of Mangalwedha town of Solapur district. The matter has been reported to police but so far there is no statement from the police on the incident.
Following the incident, the police has detained at least 15 people in the case for their alleged involvement. The victims who were allegedly targeted by the villagers were from Maharashtra’s Solapur district. Making a statement in the case, the Pimpalner village police officials said that murder cases will be levelled against those have been detained. However, the cops were yet to identify the victims.

Previously, on June 11, 2 tribals were killed and 6 others injured after a mob targeted them suspecting that they were robbers in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad. Reports say that at least 400 villagers attacked around 8 tribals suspecting that they were robbers. The villagers brutally assaulted the suspected robbers before the police reached the spot and found that many of them were lying on the ground.
