With just one day left for Bihar Class 10 Board exam results to be announced, the state has yet again been embarrassed after it was reported that over 10,000 answer sheets were stolen from the strong room where all the answer sheets were kept. Reports add that the answer sheets of Class 10 students were kept in bags on April 5. The following incident was highlighted by the principal of SS Balika Inter School in Gopalganj. The following robbery was unearthed after the Bihar Board officials had asked for some answer sheets of different subjects for a routine process of verification. While getting the answer sheets it was found that 213 bags filled with answer sheets have been stolen.
The following incident comes to light with just less than 24 hours left for the result, which is to be announced on June 20. With answer sheets being stolen, the results are likely to be delayed. Bihar School Education Board (BSEB) Matriculation or class 10th results were set to be announced by the State Education Minister and the Board Chairman and later will be posted online on its official website — biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
The following update comes to light just a few years after the education scam in Bihar was unearthed. Earlier in 2016, a video went viral where the Bihar topper called political science, prodigal science. The ‘topper’ identified as Ruby Rai was also clueless about her subjects.
As per reports, over 17 lakh students had appeared for Class 10 Board Exam that started from February 21 and ended on February 28. Reports suggest that the exams were held in 1426 centers across the state.
No comments were received from Bihar Education Minister Krishna Nandan Prasad Verma over the reports of over 10,000 answer sheets being stolen. In 2017, the total pass percentage of Class 10 students was mere 50.2 percent.
