After emerging as one of the celebrated actors of Indian Television despite his big size, Actor Ram Kapoor has left everyone in shock and awe after his drastic weight loss. As he continues to garner praises from fans on social media, he has opened up about his incredible journey towards fitness. Sharing insights about changes in his diet and workout routine, Ram told a news portal that he does an hour of weight lifting right after he wakes up and does cardio before going to bed.
When it comes to his diet, he eats limited food during a period of 8 hours and then doesn’t eat anything at all for the next 16 hours. In his journey towards weight loss, he has given up dairy, oil, most carbs, sugar and meat. As a result, he has given up normal food as he knows it.
On making his health his priority, Ram Kapoor said that he knew the journey is going to be tough. It was certainly hard for him to stop working for a long time. For the last 10 years of his career, he had been an unhealthy man. He is grateful for his fans who accepted him the way he was and having a career but he had a make a decision to become a healthier version of himself. After he made the decision, his career took a backseat for the time being.
Calling his wife Gautami a huge motivation, the actor said that she is incredibly fit. Their kids will eventually grow up and get on their separate paths. In the end, it will be just two of them taking care of each other, travelling and growing old. So, he had two option, Either be the way he is and let Gautami take care of him since he was so fat or get healthy so that they can enjoy their life. On the professional front, Ram Kapoor became a household name with his hit show Bade Achhe Lagte Hai. He is currently seen in ALT Balaji’s web show Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat.
