Actors Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah have been grabbing headlines since quite some time with their hush-hush wedding. In her latest interaction with a news portal, the Haseena Maan Jayegi actor confirmed her wedding with Nawab and shared further insights into their intimate wedding and how they met. Stating that they are indeed married, Pooja said that they exchanged vows in Delhi on July 4 with their close friends and family in attendance.

While their loved ones kept asking them about why they are delaying their marriage, she wanted to go with the flow. She then realised that Nawab is the man she wants to be with for the rest of her life and they should not delay it. She also said that Nawab and she had an Arya Samaj wedding and will be registering their marriage this week.

Speaking about how they met and eventually fell in love, Pooja said she knew him since they are in the same profession but they were reintroduced to each other by a common friend in February. This is when they reconnected, were in the same space emotionally and hit it off instantly.

On being quipped about the proposal, Pooja responded that Nawab came to pick her up at the airport during initial days of their relationship. He wanted to propose her right then but got nervous and decided not to do it. Nawab later proposed to her in Delhi and again after he met her parents with his family. On the work front, Pooja Batra is now working in American shows and plans to take up quality work in India. Nawab Shah, on the other hand, was last seen in Tiger Zinda Hai and Netflix India’s Sacred Games.
