Happy Birthday Ravi Kishan: Ravindra Shyamnarayan Shukla popularly known as Ravi Kishan is an Indian actor, politician, television personality and also a singer. The all-rounder star predominantly works in the Bhojpuri and Hindi industry and even has featured in Telugu movies. Ravi Kishan started his acting career back in 1992 with Hindi language movie Pitambar but when he didn’t bag recognition he tried his hands in Telugu and Bhojpuri language. Some of his movies from his earlier years are- Rani Aur Maharani, Zakhmi Dil, Aag Aur Chingari, Udhaar Ki Zindagi, Laalchee, Aatank, Army, Sher E Bazar, Jai Hanuman, Kudrat, Keemat, Aaya Toofan, and many more.

Apart from starring in films, he has also participated in Bigg Boss and also was a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 in 2012. In 2017 he made his Kannada debut in Hebbuli with Kiccha Sudeep and his Tamil debut in Sketch with Vikram.

Ravi Kishan joined Indian National Congress in 2014 but later changed to BJP and was named as the candidate from Gorakhpur Loksabha Constituency, He had contested the 2019 general elections against Samajwadi party candidate Rambhual Nishad in Gorakhpur constituency of Uttar Pradesh. Kishan won against Rambhual Nishad by a lead of over 3,01,664 votes. Ravi Kishan polled 7,17,122 votes, while Rambhual Nishad polled 4,15,458 votes.
