After raising the excitement among the fans with the intriguing trailer of the film and gripping songs like Halka Halka, Acche Din and Mohabbat, Fanney Khan has finally hit the screens. Addressing the burning issue of body shaming, Fanney Khan revolves around a middle-class man (Anil Kapoor), whose desire is to make his daughter a pop sensation like Baby Singh (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. To fulfil his dream, Anil as a determined father kidnaps Aishwarya with the help of his earnest neighbour Rajkummar Rao.
Fanney Khan marks the directorial debut of Atul Manjrekar and has been bankrolled by T-Series and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The film will clash with Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar’s Karwaan and Rishi Kapoor and Taapsee Pannu’s Mulk.
