Ever since the trailer of Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer has been released, the film has managed to remain the limelight. From garnering appreciation on the duo’s sizzling on-screen chemistry, being attacked for failing to recreate the rawness of Marathi super-hit film Sairat or calling out the star-cast for being products of nepotism, the film has emerged as one of the most-talked-about films in recent times. Amidst it all, the official Twitter handle of Mumbai Police, which is known for spreading awareness with a pinch of humour, added a funny twist to one of Janhvi’s dialogue from the film.

Taking a dig at Janhvi’s dialogue where she can be seen remanding her on-screen flame Ishaan Khatter for not giving her enough attention, Mumbai Police attached a photo of Traffic signal on her face.  Sharing the poster that reads ‘Traffic Signals have emotions too’ on their Twitter handle, Mumbai police told their followers to not underestimate the emotional quotient of Traffic signals.

The caption added that their e-challan is anyways not too happy with your relationship and concluded with the hashtag #TrafficSignalMatters. As soon as the meme was posted, Twitterati could not keep calm and lauded Mumbai Police for taking a funny dig at Janhvi’s dialogue.

When quipped Janhvi on Boney Kapoor’s reaction on the film trailer, she enacted him as saying, “Wow, what natural acting you are doing.” She added that her father just reacts in sounds so if he is happy he responds with a ‘hmmm’ and if he does not like it then he responds with ‘hmph’. Thus, the tone of the voice is how they figure out if Mr Boney is happy or not.

Helmed by Shashank Khaitan and bankrolled by Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions and Zee Studios, Dhadak starring Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter is based Marathi super-hit film Sairat. The film will hit the screens on July 20.
