Bihar government makes Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 tax-free in state: The Bihar government has waived off the state government’s taxes on Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 throughout the state from July 16, 2019, reports said on Tuesday. Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi made the announcement earlier on Monday. He said that the film will be tax-free in Bihar from July 16. He had watched the movie on Friday at a screening where Anand Kumar was also present.
It has been reported that people from Bihar living in the Gulf countries were demanding that the Bihar government should declare the film tax free across the state. The film is based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who hails from Patna.
The film is based on Patna-based coaching institution, founded by Anand Kumar, that trains and prepares students to crack the IIT-Joint Entrance Examination. Ever since its inception in 2002, Anand Kumar has helped over 400 poor children to qualify for the engineering entrance examination.
