The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday declared its MBBS entrance examination 2018, following which applicants who secured top ranks got media attention. A coaching institute in country’s coaching hub and Rajasthan town Kota has claimed that its nine students have secured top positions in the all-India rankings. The director of Allen Career Institute of Rajasthan, Naveen Maheshwari has said its nine students – Ramneek Kaur Mahal, Mehak, Manraj Sra, Amitabh Pankaj Chauhan, Abdur Rehman Asrarul Haque, Sangeet Rathi, Amulya Gupta, Somal Agarwal and Eishvauk Aggarwal have secured the All-India rankings 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 respectively in AIIMS MBBS entrance examination 2018.
The institute officials added that two of its nine toppers – Mahal Sra and Aggarwal are distance learning program students and the rest attended the classroom course regularly. However, these results are not new for this year, as per institute claims, their students had secured the ranks in the top 10 of MBBS results. Last year in MBBS entrance examination conducted by AIIMS, Nishita Purohit of Gujarat’s Surat had secured the top position.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences conducts an entrance test for admission to courses at AIIMS New Delhi, Patna, Bhopal, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Rishikesh, Raipur, Guntur and Nagpur every year. AIIMS on Monday declared its MBBS entrance examination on its official website.
